DAY 1 - 3 International ArrivalDelhi

Delhi, the City of Djinns (spirits) is yours to discover! Let us take you on a journey of India’s capital that covers 5,000 years, from its imperial history and two World Heritage sites to today’s electric contemporary vibe.

Whether you want a whirlwind tour or wish to enjoy an in-depth experience of Delhi’s numerous sights, the choice is yours on this full day tour! Discover the Old Town with its bustling markets, including Chandni Chowk, once the grandest Indian market. Head to the imposing Red Fort and onto India’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid, beautifully decorated with paintings, inlaid stones, carvings and glazed tiles. Feast at the colorful, open-air food and craft bazaar of Dilli Haat. Visit Laxminarayan Temple, built in honor of the Hindu goddess of wealth, and its beautiful gardens. Discover the UNESCO World heritage site Humayun’s Tomb, a monumental landmark in Indo-Islamic architecture with its perfect synthesis of Persian architecture and Indian traditions. Enjoy the calm serenity of the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Once a private hunting ground for maharajahs (kings), the area houses more than 22 species of animals and 250 species of birds! Accompanied by your chauffeur and an expert naturalist, explore unspoiled landscapes at the four different zones inside the vast national park. You can also discover the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort and several interesting man made caves. If you wish, take a leisurely ride on the back of an elephant!

DAY 5 - 7 Drive from Bandhavgarh to Kanha (250 km, 5 hrs)Kanha

Kanha is the undisputed king of wildlife parks, being the largest national park in Central /West India and one of the best maintained.

Search for Shere Khan on a scintillating tiger safari! Set forth on a forest trail of lush bamboo where tucked within, the mysterious silent predator of the Royal Bengal Tiger prowls and rests. Accompanied by a trained naturalist and chauffeur in a open-top 4×4 vehicle, embark on early morning and afternoon safaris and venture deep into the forest. The thrill of tiger spotting aside, Kanha National Park boasts a variety of wildlife for you to witness, including the rare Swamp Deer and the endangered black buck and hundred of bird species. Make your afternoon safari even more rewarding as you head to the highest plateau of the park, Bamni Dadar, to witness a beautiful sunset against the backdrop of gently grazing animals.

Nestling in the Satpura hills, named after the Pench river that flows from north to south through the National Park dissecting it in half, Pench has the maximum number of tiger sightings in April and also frequently spotted are animals like leopards, wild cats and the Indian civet.

Venture to the waterfront and witness the historic Gateway of India, built during the British rule. Drive by the world’s most expensive real estate along Marine Drive, also known as the Queen’s Necklace, as the streetlights resemble a string of pearls at night. Discover the plethora of colonial architecture including the High Court, Mumbai University, Flora Fountain, Asiatic Library, Prince of Wales Museum, Municipal Corporation Building and the fascinating, fully-functioning Victoria Terminus Railway Station. Whilst the building is closed to the public, you can glimpse the Parsi Tower of Silence with its circling vultures. Unwind amidst the topiary of the Hanging Gardens, or in Kamala Nehru Park and Horniman Circle. Learn more about Mahatma Gandhi at Mani Bhavan, a museum and reference library. (Duration: 4 hrs)
